DR. L.S. Chaudhary was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 1996 and started practice before the Delhi High Court, Supreme Court and the sub-ordinate courts. He did his LLM in the year 2001 and was awarded PhD in law by Delhi University in the year 2008. He has handled many important and landmark cases. He conducted trials of many serious cases. He has argued many Appeals and Writ Petitions before many High Courts and Supreme Court. He has many reported cases to his credit. He has been appointed Amicus Curie in many cases by the Delhi High Court. He has also appeared before many other High Courts including Allahabad High Court, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Andhra Pradesh High Court, Uttaranchal High Court, Gauhati High Court, Himachal Pradesh High Court etc. He visited the courts in Germany. He has argued many landmark cases before the Supreme Court. He has argued a landmark case popularly known as FIR case wherein many directions were issued by Delhi High Court including supply of copies of FIR to the accused and uploading of FIRs on the Internet. He argued a case titled as Abrar Ali Vs. Union of India wherein the interpretation of Article 226 of the Constitution of India was given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India which benefited lac of personnels of paramilitary forces. He argued a historical case before the Gauhati High Court (Navendra Kumar Vs. Union of India) wherein the CBI was declared unconstitutional and it was further declared that the CBI is not the police force and cannot carry out any of the police functions including the registratin of FIR, Arrest, Search, Seizure and Prosecution. He has delivered many lectures in legal and other issues and attended many Seminars. He has also been honoured as the Chief Guest in many functions held in India International Centre. He has been appointed Judge in many interstate moot courts. In the year 2013, he was awarded by the Law Minister of Delhi Government for his contribution to the society. He has been awarded by many NGOs. Besides the profession he is also associated with many NGOs. He was a part of Indian delegation to Germany on Judicial Reforms.
